From its humble beginnings in 2009 at The Purdue Technology Center of Indianapolis, The Innovation Showcase has grown to become Indiana’s premier event for fundable companies to connect with capital sources.
Originally created by the Venture Club of Indiana in 2009, The Innovation Showcase was enhanced with the addition of Verge in 2011 and VisionTech Partners in 2014, and now is known as the place to connect with the entrepreneurial energy in Indiana.
Hosted in 2009 and 2010 at The Purdue Technology Center of Indianapolis and in 2011 and 2012 at DeveloperTown, the size and scale of The Innovation Showcase forced a move to its largest venue yet in 2013 — The Dallara IndyCar Factory in Speedway, Indiana.
And in 2014, The Innovation Showcase will grow to a full-day event that, in addition to Indiana’s largest expo of fundable startups, will feature morning educational sessions for Angel investors and founders, as well as a day-after Showcase feedback session for exhibiting companies.
Having hosted over 2,500 attendees since inception, The Innovation Showcase is looking to continue it’s track record of growth in exhibiting companies, connections made for entrepreneurs & investors and in measurable outcomes for companies exhibiting and presenting at The Innovation Showcase.
