Spring 2013 marks the biggest class yet for Starter League. Students entered, brimming with ideas, and now are ready to showcase their ability to prototype, build and launch them at their upcoming Starter Night Event to be held June 14th at the Thorne Auditorium.

Starter Night will showcase 20 teams, each with a unique idea that’s gone from ideation to launch in less than 11-weeks.

Students collaborate in teams of three to six, sharing roles in User Experience, Visual Design, Front-end and Back-end Web Development.

For tickets to their June 14th event click here. Doors open at 5:30pm, and presentations will begin at 6pm. Light snacks and beverages provided.

For many, Starter Night was their launchpad. It gave them the opportunity to sum up their skills, and open a new field of opportunities for them.

This is your moment to see people just like you, share how far they have come in just three months. Special guest speakers include Ryan Singer from 37signals. Friends and family can register for the $5 early bird special. Ticket prices will go up beginning May 24th.

Prior to their 11-weeks in The Starter League, most of these students had little to no previous programming or design experience. And today, they’re launching MVPs (minimum viable products), finding new paths to new careers, continuing to learn more, and be more.
